In his Public Sector Banking career spanning 40+ years, Mr. Kumar held several leadership positions in India and abroad for Corporation Bank, UCO Bank, and Bank of Baroda. He has a graduate degree in Law and a master’s degree in Physics.With a penchant for independent thinking, he painstakingly led several growth initiatives and strategies as CMD - Corporation Bank, Executive Director - UCO Bank, and General Manager, Technology & Retail Banking – Bank of Baroda. Under his stellar leadership, Corporation Bank was given a national award for its performance in MSME finance for the year 2012-13 by the Prime Minister of India.
