HTL Ltd. is the latest addition in HFCL Group of Companies, after taking over from Government through Department of Disinvestment in Oct 2001. HFCL Group now holds 74% stake in HTL Ltd.
Initially HTL Ltd. was manufacturer of Teleprinter Machines. Subsequently, the Company embarked on a diversification plan and has undergone revolutionary modernization of its product range to high end products like Digital Switching Equipment, Switching accessories, Transmission Products and a very wide range of Access and Terminal Products.
Forming telecom spectrum, equipping itself with a strong manufacturing base in diverse hi-tech areas, HTL Ltd. has become one of largest players in the manufacture of telecommunication equipment. It has to its credit such diverse products like:-
- Small, Medium and Large Telephone Exchanges with C-DOT Technology.
- Large Switching Exchanges with SIEMENS know-how.
- Transmission and Data Networking Products.
- Main distribution frames
- Power Plants
- Electronic Push Button Telephones
By complementing Digital Switching Equipment as new dimension in HFCL's product range, HFCL Group can now claim to be the only Telecom Group offering Total Telecom Solution to its Customers.

HTL Ltd. houses fully automated State-of-art modern Electronic Assembly equipped with SMT Facilities for assembling PCBs, THT Technology for Assembly Lines, Sophisticated Testing and Inspection Facilities.
Mechanical Production Facilities of the Company are equipped with modernized workshop comprising of CNC Machines for sheet metal and turned precision components, with modern Tool Room Facilities.
